We don't bother with 'fishing'; rather, we call it 'catching'. The fish seem to leap towards your hook as you throw out a line. They also appear to be fattened for the dinner plate. What's more, you can reel in real delicacies: succulent Sweet Lip (we call them Trumpeter), trevally and kingfish to name a few. Experienced fishing operators offer deep sea fishing charters, weather and seas permitting (please check with the operator - what the agreed catch allowance is) or you can hire fishing gear and drop your own line from any of the jetties.
