Birds are one of our many unique attractions. Before European settlement, Norfolk Island resembled one big bird sanctuary. Today each Spring, we welcome migratory terns, frigate birds, mutton birds, shearwaters and boobies. Year round, you’ll encounter red breasted robin, green parrot and teal blue kingfisher (the nuffka). Your eyes and ears will be delighted by many others too.
